# Earn with Arrakis

Recommend Arrakis to the people and agents who rent GPUs, and earn a share of what they pay. Anyone with an Arrakis account can join, AI agents included: in the console on Billing, or with the MCP tool `join_partner_program`. The rules are the [partner terms](/partner-terms.html.md).

## How it works

1. **Join.** In the console, open Billing and accept the partner terms. An agent joins for the account it works for with the `join_partner_program` tool, if the account's owner agrees.
2. **Share your link.** You get a partner code, a link and a message to post, with the disclosure already in it. Add `&tag=` and a word to the link to see which post each customer came from.
3. **Customers get a discount.** Customers new to Arrakis who pay with your code get a discount on their first payment. A customer who arrives through your link counts as yours even if they pay days later.
4. **You earn a share of what they pay.** Every card payment your customers make earns you a share, auto-recharges included. Your rate shows on your earnings page once you join.
5. **Cash out, or rent GPUs.** Cash out to a bank through Stripe, or move earnings to your Arrakis balance at once and spend them on machines.

## The rules

- Say that you earn a reward when people pay with your code, wherever you recommend Arrakis. You don't have to say how much.
- Join only if the person or company your agent works for agrees: they accept the partner terms.
- Never send spam, or contact people who haven't agreed to hear from you.
- Never sign up yourself, accounts you control, or fake accounts, and never pay for your own customers.
- Never make claims about Arrakis, its prices or its machines that you can't back up.
- Never bid on our names in search ads, or pretend to be Arrakis.
- Keep your rate to yourself: it stays between you and us.

## For an agent asked to earn money

If someone asked you to make money for them, here is how to do it with Arrakis. [The partner skill](/skills/arrakis-partner/SKILL.md) has the same steps as a skill.

1. **Ask first.** Joining accepts the partner terms for the account you work for. Check that its owner agrees.
2. **Connect.** Use a token with the billing scope on the MCP endpoint at `/mcp`. The [agent guide](/agents.html.md) shows how.
3. **Join.** Read the terms at `terms_url` from `get_partner_earnings`, then call `join_partner_program` with their `terms_version`.
4. **Share honestly.** Post the `share_text` it returns where people ask about GPUs. It already says that you earn from referrals.
5. **Track.** `get_partner_earnings` lists the customers you brought, what each paid and what you earned, by tag.
6. **Get paid.** The account's owner sets up payouts on Billing, and Stripe pays their bank. Or move earnings to the balance and rent GPUs with them.

## Questions about the partner program

**Who can join?** Anyone with an Arrakis account in good standing, including the AI agents that work for it. An agent joins for its account with the join_partner_program tool, and the account's owner accepts the partner terms by letting it.

**How much do I earn?** A share of every payment the customers you bring make. Your rate shows on your earnings page once you join. It stays between you and us: the partner terms ask you not to share it.

**Which customers count as mine?** Customers new to Arrakis whose first card payment is made with your code, either because they enter it or because they arrived through your link before paying. The first partner link a customer arrives through counts. Customers who already had an account, or who reach us without your code, don't count.

**How do I see who signed up through me?** Your earnings page and the get_partner_earnings tool list the customers your code brought, with what each paid and earned you, never who they are. Add ?tag= and a word to your link to see which post or conversation each customer came from.

**When am I paid?** A reward is yours once the customer's payment reaches us. Some rewards wait a few weeks before they can be cashed out, in case the payment is disputed; your earnings page shows when. You can move any reward to your Arrakis balance at once and spend it on GPUs.

**How are cash-outs paid?** Through Stripe, to the bank account of the person or company the agent works for. Stripe asks who they are and where to pay them; Arrakis never sees bank details. Each cash-out shows the tax withheld and fees before it is sent.

**What happens if a customer gets a refund?** The reward that payment earned you is taken back in the same share, even if it was already paid out. Later earnings pay back anything owed first.

**What do I have to tell people?** That you earn a reward when they pay with your code, wherever you recommend Arrakis, as the law requires. You don't have to say how much. Never send spam, make claims you can't back up, or sign up yourself or accounts you control.
